The Waller Club is funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) grant through the Florida Department of Education. 21st CCLCs provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours. The program helps students meet state and local standards in core academic subjects; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bay County is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant for Waller Elementary School in Youngstown, FL. This program will offer academic enrichment during afterschool hours in English Language Arts, Math, and STEM, along with character development and healthy lifestyles education. We will serve 100 Waller Elementary students in grades 1-5 on-site at the school. A copy of our grant application is available on this website.
